Copyright
The artist retains full copyright on all artwork that is produced, including mock-ups and prints. This means I can create prints and calendars using the image of the artwork created. When a portrait is commissioned I reserve the right to display it in my website gallery and on my social media pages. Clients who do not wish their commissioned portrait to be shown online must notify me before work commences.
Payment
To commission a portrait, payment must be made in full before the drawing of the portrait can begin. I accept PayPal or Credit Cards via a PayPal invoice for international payment and bank transfer for CZK payments. Artworks are shipped within 3 business days from portrait completion. Please be aware that I work on a first come first serve basis and waiting times can take up to a few months so please contact me to make sure your portrait can be complete and delivered in the time you need.
Shipping
All orders are shipped securely with a tracking number to the address you provide. If the item is a gift, it can be shipped directly to the recipient.
Cancellations and refunds
Due to the nature of a custom hand made artwork, cancellations and refunds are not possible after the drawing process has begin.
Changes of the finished portrait
On receiving a portrait's photo for approval, clients have 5 days to contact me about any required changes. If the portrait needs returning for alterations the client must cover the necessary shipping charges both ways.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
Damage in transit
My portraits are packaged in a secure way however in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit please send a photo of the damaged artwork immediately. Depending on the extent of the damage, the artwork must be returned to me and a new portrait will be drawn at no cost. The new portrait will be added to my client waiting list.
Time of completion
Time of completion will depend on the time of year and number of other portraits booked in my schedule. I will provide an estimated completion date upon your inquiry. For specific dates (e.g. for a birthday) I will try my best to accommodate any special request.
Privacy Policy
The artist will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties. Your personal data is only used for the purpose of creating and delivering the commissioned portrait.
VAT and Import Duty
My pet portrait commissions are not subject to Value Added Tax. Payment of import duty may be liable in some countries, which is the sole responsibility of the client.
