Hi! I’m Justyna, pet portrait artist and animal lover, based in beautiful Prague. After working for a few years in an office job in the corporate world I decided to follow my dream of becoming a professional illustrator.
About me
I spent most of my childhood with crayons and pencils in my hands - drawing was such an important part of my life, it felt strange not to do it. From a house full of pets to bird-watching trips to nearby ponds, animals have always been a big source of inspiration for my creativity. And nowadays, my biggest muse is my beloved cat, Abby - yes, my business is named after her!
My professional illustration journey started with digital children’s book art. So how did I end up with a realistic style, pencils and pet drawings? I was (still am) tired with the amount of digital and AI-generated art and I felt the need to go back to my favorite traditional medium - colored pencils. And custom pet portraits were an obvious choice - not only I love drawing dogs, cats, horses and other animals, but as a cat mom myself I understand the sentimental value and meaning of a beautifully crafted gift like that.
