Commission process

STEP 1

Take a look at my gallery to understand what kind of pet portrait I can create for you. All portraits are hand drawn with professional colored pencils (Prismacolor Premier and Faber-Castell Polychromos) on a high quality 230 g/m2 paper.

STEP 2

Fill in the commission request form to make an inquiry or to ask questions if any. I will answer via e-mail to discuss your potential order in detail and/or answer any questions you might have.

STEP 3

If you decide to proceed with the order, I will ask you to provide me with at least 1 good quality reference photo of your pet (feel free to send more!). If you are not sure which photo would be the best for a portrait, don’t worry! We will discuss it together and I will help you with choosing the most suitable one. After deciding on the reference photo, I will create a mock-up for you - it will show you what the final result of your pet portrait will look like.

Things to keep in mind when choosing a photo:

-> send in high resolution (shouldn't be blurry)

-> taken in a natural lighting

-> taken at the pet's eye level

STEP 4

PAYMENT: Once the mock-up is approved by you, I will provide you with the estimated delivery time (based on my current workload) and send you the invoice. You can pay via bank transfer, if you are based in Czechia. For international orders you can use PayPal - payment is possible via transfer or with a debit/credit card (NOTE: you don't need to have a PayPal account).

STEP 5

I will draw the portrait of your pet/pets. Before adding the final touches, I will send you the picture of it for your approval. PLEASE NOTE it is not possible to make big changes (like redrawing parts of the body) due to the nature of colored pencils.

Once approved, your pet drawing will be send to you via courier in a secure packaging and with a tracking code.
